Volunteer Program

Lend a Helping Hand
As a volunteer at Ranch Ehrlo, you can help our youth develop a brighter future. Volunteers play an important role in the lives of our young people. Volunteers allow us to do many things we would otherwise not be able to do. They also provide youth with the reassurance that people do care and that youth are valued-members of the greater community. It is sometimes that little extra that can make an all-important difference in a young person's life.
Recruitment
The need for specific volunteer positions is identified by the staff at Ranch Ehrlo. We also welcome and will consider your suggestions to develop a specific Volunteer role and may utilize your resources to enhance our program and services. Volunteer opportunities within our program include: educational tutors, shop assistants, art instructors, library assistants, recreation facilitators/coaches, cultural and craft workers.
Screening
In order to be considered for a volunteer position, a volunteer application must be completed. Completing this detailed application assists in matching you with the most appropriate volunteer assignment and/or determining your suitability for a volunteer position.
As a protection to the children and youth in our care and treatment, all Ranch Ehrlo volunteer applicants that may have contact with children are subject to police and reference checks as well as a screening interview.
Begin the Process Now
