Community Vocational Education Program
Ranch Ehrlo’s Community Vocational Education Program (CVEP) provides a variety of pre-vocational and vocational services designed to assist people with mental and/or psychological disabilities develop and improve work skills and work attitudes.
CVEP is designed to meet the training and employment needs of young adults who are not benefiting from traditional school and vocational services, with the goal of paid community-based employment for each student, regardless of the severity of their disability.
The innovative features of the model include: customized employment opportunities, work experiences, and transition planning for each student driven by the student’s interests, support needs, strengths and contributions.
Admission criteria
We provide a warm, nurturing and supportive environment for all of the young adults in our program. CVEP is a non-discriminatory program, and participants are accepted without bias to gender, age, race, religion, or socio-economic status. The program is available to all young adults who want to work and require specialized care to help accomplish this goal.
