Ehrlo Early Learning Centre is accredited by the Council on Accreditation which ensures that our policies and procedures meet the best practice and standards in North America. The goal of the Ehrlo Early Learning Centre is to provide high quality childcare to the children of Ranch Ehrlo and Ehrlo Community Services employees, as well as any other children that may have an opportunity to utilize the facility. This high quality service is made possible through the co-operation and involvement of parents, children and caregivers.

The program philosophy embraces the belief that children need social nourishment to develop as healthy individuals. Cognitive, emotional, physical and social development will be stimulated throughout the day in a number of ways through various activities. Children are most likely to achieve personal growth when they are provided with a loving environment. Acceptance and fairness are important factors that contribute to children’s’ well being and the development of high self-esteem.

The Ehrlo Early Learning Centre emphasizes safety, trust and routine. This is done by setting limits in a respectful and non-judgmental manner. Communication is imperative between children and staff. By teaching effective listening and verbalization skills with an emphasis on honesty and respect, we also help children learn healthy coping and problem solving skills. An atmosphere of fun is vital to carrying out the philosophy, objectives and goals of Ehrlo Early Learning Centre. Children and caregivers sharing and creating experiences together are fundamental to providing the most desirable environment possible.
