The OHL is very excited to be partnering with The Co-operators in this year’s series of indoor games at the new Co-operators Centre at Evraz Place! Each OHL team will have the opportunity to come in from the outdoors and play twice on the new ice rinks, thanks to the generous donation from The Co-operators.

SHOOTING STARS FOUNDATION

A big thank you goes out to the Shooting Stars Foundation for hosting the Kids On Ice Dress a Champion Hockey Equipment Drive on October 18, 2009. There was an overwhelming response and it was a huge success!

Many thanks to the Regina South Rotary Club for their generous donation of skateboards, helmets and rollerblades to the Ehrlo Sport Venture Library. The donation, which is valued at approximately $1500, adds to the Ehrlo Sport Venture Library’s extensive lending inventory. Presently, the equipment is being enjoyed by children and youth in the North Central neighbourhood – and will continue to be enjoyed for years to come.

Thanks again to the Regina South Rotary Club for supporting children and youth in taking part in active, healthy leisure pursuits.

The Sport Venture Library provides equipment free-of-charge to individuals and groups working with inner-city youth. Over 200 individuals and groups currently access equipment from the Library.
