Counselling
Services

Established
in 1997, Ehrlo Counselling Services provides professional counselling
services and programs to children, adolescents and families in the
City of Regina and surrounding area. Ehrlo Counselling Services
has developed an expertise in counselling children and families
in the areas of physical, sexual and emotional abuse, attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, depression,
anxiety and other issues such as bullying/victimization, under achievement
and parent/child conflict.
Ehrlo
Counselling Services is based on an integration of a variety of
therapeutic techniques. Professional staff with expertise in a broad
range of client needs, provide a comprehensive assessment and intervention
plan unique to each client.
Each
client's progress is monitored by a clinical supervisor to ensure
the highest quality of service. The multi-disciplinary team provides
additional assessment services such as a psychiatric consultation
where appropriate.
Treatment
and goal setting are accomplished in collaboration with clients.
This process is based on the belief that many difficulties can be
resolved through short-term interventions. Long-term intervention
services are available when necessary. Treatment is provided using
individual, group, and family counselling methods. Evaluation of
the intervention and treatment services is consumer oriented and
ongoing.
