Residences
Youth entering Ranch Ehrlo find a home in one of five residences located on 120 acres of land, eight km east of Regina, near the town of Pilot Butte. The Schaller School, Liski Gymnasium and the Hudson Administration Building are also located there. While youth become familiar with the Ranch Ehrlo way-of-life, a plan is developed to look after their needs.
Ranch Ehrlo Society also operates several group homes in Regina and Prince Albert and its campuses at Buckland, Corman Park and Pilot Butte as well as a number of independent living apartments. Each home has a purpose designed to accommodate the needs of those youth living there. The programs prepare the youth to return to their families, to live independently, or to enter the world of employment. While living at the Ranch each youth participates in daily group living experiences that focus upon co-operation, communication and planned activities.
A unit manager, who is a trained professional, heads the residential team. The team is made up of youth service workers, child care workers and a housemother. These people work together with the clinical team and the education team to deliver holistic service.
