Buckland

Buckland campusOn July 1, 1997, the Ranch Ehrlo Society opened a treatment centre, located in the rural municipality of Buckland, northwest of Prince Albert. The Buckland Centre property is located 20 minutes north of Prince Albert and spans 40 acres that border the provincial forest and the Sturgeon River. The Buckland Centre is designed to meet the needs of youth and their families from northern communities and to assist youth in the eventual transition from residential treatment back to their home community. Youth who are preparing to return to their home communities in the north and have been successful following their participation in the Regina-based program, are considered for the Buckland Centre program.

Presently there are two residential units (Alex Guy House  and Klassen House); one in-town residential units in Prince Albert (Matheson House), all of which provide residential and clinical treatment services for the youth. The Buckland Campus boasts the Donalda Hansen Centre for Equine Therapy, which is home to the Equine Assisted Learning program.  Recreational amenities include a hockey rink, soccer field, basketball courts, and playground.
